If you love to work and assist with the management of this organization, we look forward to having you join our Al Sura team!
(Disclaimer: Expressing an interest in volunteering for Al Sura and/or the "2011 White Attire Affair©" is not automatic acceptance as a volunteer. All volunteers will need to go through the volunteer process as outlined below.)
To volunteer for Al Sura and/or the "2011 White Attire Affair©", one will need to:
1.) Complete the 'volunteer' portion located by clicking the above: "DOWNLOAD VOLUNTEER FORM."
2.) Wait to be contacted by someone from Al Sura for a telephone interview to gauge your interest in volunteering. (Conflicts of interests can include, but are not limited to: employment [self or otherwise] via a company or organization that does not align with our overall mission, past or present criminal activity adversely affecting your ability to reflect Al Sura's core values... These are just examples of conflicts of interests.)
a.) Those persons that wish to volunteer, via a leadership role, by serving on the Al Sura board, becoming one Al Sura's directors and/or becoming a director for the "2011 White Attire Affair©" specifically should be prepared to submit a resume or a short essay outlining his/her specific committment to volunteerism.
b.) Each prospective volunteer should be prepared to make a committment to a pre-determined specific number of events and/or hours to remain a volunteer in 'good standing'.
3.) Once selected, be prepared to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and furnish government or state issued identification to accompany your volunteer form and signed agreement. (*Please note: ONLY those parties that have direct involvement with the selected volunteers will have access to those files containing personal and confidential volunteer information.)
4.) In addition, be prepared to go through a Volunteer Training process that will include outlining the purpose and duties of the selected volunteers, the core values and mission of Al Sura and individual(s) availability. (All selected volunteers will be contacted at a later date for a face-to-face training session. Those volunteers that are not local will be contacted with a scheduled date and time for a dial-in conference call training session.)
(Al Sura acknowledges the need to be non-judgemental and respectful of diversity; yet we may from time to time, find it necessary to refuse to accept a request for volunteers from anyone in the community that may not fully meet or accept our core values and reflect same during your duration of service.)
